We’re excited to announce that the State of the South will be making its way to Atlanta, Georgia, from September 30th to October 2nd, 2024. This gathering will be a powerful platform for critical conversations centered on making Atlanta, Georgia, and the larger Southern region more equitable and inclusive. Through discussions about food, art, and policy, we’ll explore what investments are needed to ensure today’s youth thrive in 2055 and beyond.
BCDI-Atlanta is proud to be a part of this significant event, and we’re even more thrilled to share that our Interim President, Tatjyana Elmore, and our Coordinator of Programs, Sharon Hudgins-Beck, will be speaking on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Their discussion will focus on Expanding Early Care and Education, Black Child Development Institute of Atlanta.
This is an opportunity not just to listen but to actively engage and share your voice in shaping the future of our region. Your input is vital as we work together to create a South where every child and family can flourish.
Make sure to mark your calendars and join us for these essential conversations. We look forward to seeing you there!
