Thank you to everyone for a successful 4th Annual Culturally Responsive Early Education & Care Leadership Summit. It truly was a family reunion!
At the Summit, we honored our 2022 Lifted Voices Fellows who participated in a multi-tiered program that is designed to systematically address the programmatic needs of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. Our five fellows were able to do so partly due to a grant from Fund Georgia’s Future.
Throughout the day, we welcomed new board members and celebrated the 2023 Community Leadership Award winners. We also showcased the talents of our children like Cameron Milner, author of Captured Moments of Covid: Eye-Opening Reflective Stories From Atlanta Children Who Have Survived Several Years In A Pandemic.
We want to once again thank all of our exhibitors and sponsors. Twelve different exhibitors showcased their products and services including the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and Nguzo Babies. We had ten sponsors who made the Summit possible, and a special thank you goes to our event partner, United Way of Greater Atlanta.
Finally, we want to thank all of our board members, staff, keynote speaker Mark Davis, United Way of Greater Atlanta President Milton Little, United Way of Greater Atlanta Vice President Cori Cain, National Black Child Development Institute President Dr. Leah Austin, and everyone else who attended the Culturally Responsive Early Education & Care Leadership Summit for continuously supporting our mission to improve and advance the quality of life for Black children and families in Georgia through education and advocacy.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 21, 2024, for the 5th Annual Culturally Responsive Early Education & Care Leadership Summit!
