Atlanta Choose Healthy Life is a national Choose Healthy Life (CHL) initiative addressing the COVID-19 pandemic across Black communities. In partnership with United Way of Greater Atlanta and Ebenezer Baptist Church, BCDI-Atlanta facilitates the implementation of Atlanta CHL with local churches.
Last month, 35 community events were held resulting in the administration of 342 COVID-19 vaccinations and 640 COVID-19 tests. During these events, we were able to encourage early literacy by distributing children’s books to families, thanks to our NBCDI Read to Succeed program and Fulton County Family Connection partnerships.
