BCDI-Atlanta held its first annual Community Leadership Awards virtually on September 30, 2020. We honored 11 leaders who have enacted change in the lives of Black children, families, and communities. We paid tribute to the late Dr. Asa G. Hilliard, III and felt the power of his legacy through the words of our Mistress of Ceremony, Debbie Hillman. We even had cameos from our young people as they gave thanks and told us what these Superheroes mean to them.
The 2020 BCDI-Atlanta Community Leadership Awards event was truly a one of a kind event. However, if you missed it, you are in luck! We recorded the awards ceremony for those of you who were not able to attend. See the 2020 event recording to experience the excitement you may have already heard about from a fellow member or attendee!
Congratulations again to all our honorees, and thank you to all presenters and performers! Shout out, once again to our sponsors - Mindy Binderman (friend) and Bright from the Start/DECAL Scholars (Silver Sponsor)! Download our 2020 awards program.
