Did YOU Celebrate National Census Day with Us?
If not, you can view the attached webinar slideshow and recording now!
The purpose of this webinar was to provide our community of families with information about the Census process. We hope that this webinar increased the number of migrants and minorities who participated in the 2020 Census and included their young children in the household count. View the solutions-oriented webinar here and the PowerPoint here!
In BCDI-Atlanta's Black Children Count initiative, we are excited to support families, childcare centers, and communities in ensuring all children are counted in the 2020 US Census. We are inviting members and allies to take part in our community outreach by connecting with child care centers in hard-to-count areas to provide support in helping their parents and stakeholders complete the 2020 Census questionnaire.
If you are interested in virtual outreach activities with Georgia's childcare centers, please complete this Complete Count Committee Sign-Up form and a Complete Count Committee Chair will contact you soon with more information. We officially kicked off this work on April 1 - National Census Day.
Access the #BlackChildrenCount Toolkit here. Use the messages via phone, text, email, or social media to support #BlackFamilies in completing the #2020Census and including their #children in the household count.
